Nestled in the heart of Wandsworth, Trinity Fields is a vibrant green haven where children and young people come together to play, compete, and thrive. Whether it’s football in the winter, cricket in the summer, or multisport fun all year round. Trinity Fields was originally purchased in 1918 as playing fields for Sir Walter St. John’s School and Battersea Grammar School as well as for their Old Boys’ Associations until the schools closed.
SWSJ Charity, the owner of the fields, has granted a 50-year lease to Trinity Fields Trust.
Trinity Fields Trust is a registered charity dedicated to creating opportunities for children and young people in Wandsworth and Lambeth under 25 to get active—especially girls, young women, and those who may otherwise miss out due to cost or lack of access. Its mission is simple: to enable as many local children as possible to enjoy sport and physical activity on safe, well-kept playing fields.

A Proud Sporting Legacy: Trinity Fields has been a sporting home since the 1880s, hosting legendary teams and players. WG Grace once scored a cricket century here and was so smitten, he wanted to “carry the pitch away with him.”
